We are currently looking for all experience levels, from Laborers, Licensed Pesticide Applicators, Equipment Operators, CDL and non-CDL drivers to operate a variety of specialized vehicles which include Hi-Rail trucks, off-track, bucket trucks and on-track brush cutting equipment. We offer comprehensive on the job training so that you can confidently perform a variety of services for industrial and commercial clients. Our projects include right-of-way vegetation maintenance programs and asset management services for railroads, DOT's, utility companies, commercial industries, Federal, State and local governments throughout the United States. Experience with vegetation management is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Driver's license required. Commercial driver's license preferred and may be required, depending on job requirements
Completion of Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
Certificates and Licenses if necessary
Pesticide license, if required by state law
Ability to obtain eRailSafe certifications (training will be provided)
Railroad tree trimming/climbing & spraying experience preferred
Knowledge or ability to learn railroad vegetation management techniques and procedures.

Most positions require extensive travel. In exchange we will provide you with a daily per diem, paid accommodations and a weekly paycheck. Drivers must have acceptable MVR and all positions require a pre-employment drug screen. Must have good communication skills and work efficiently on an individual basis.
